Windows: Windows 10 or 11 running on Intel/AMD x64 chipsets
Systems with arm64 chipsets including Microsoft Surface Tablets should work under x64 emulation mode with minimal performance impact
macOS: macOS 13 Ventura or 14 Sonoma running on Intel x64 or Apple M series arm64 chipsets
First, launch the Legitimate Desktop Programmer and log in using your login credentials provided to you by the Legitimate Team. Make sure you choose the appropriate server from the drop-down menu below the login button.
Plug in your NFC programmer via your computer's USB port. Please note that some newer computers will need an extra USB-C to USB dongle to use the NFC programmer. You'll know the NFC programmer is properly connected when the screen looks like the following:
Enter the SKU ID for the SKU you created in the Legitimate Dashboard into the SKU ID box. Then, press the start button.
Place the tag on your NFC tag programmer for about 1-2 seconds
If you are using the ACR122U or ACR1552U, the reader should beep once when the tag is placed on the reader. The reader light should be red without the tag and green while the tag is on the reader.
If you are using the ACR1252U, the reader should beep once when the tag is placed on the reader and again when the tag is removed. The reader light should be flashing green without the tag and solid green with the tag on the reader.
If the programming fails, you may try to program the same tag again. if it still does not work discard the tag
The number of tags processed will be displayed on a tag button next to the stop button.
Pressing the tag button will reveal a dialog that shows all the tag IDs of the tags processed, a button to copy all the tag IDs, as well as a reset button to clear start again from 0.
The same tag processed more than once will not increase the number of tags.
Once the NFC tag is programmed remove it from the NFC tag programmer and place the next tag on the programmer
Repeat this process until all desired tags have been programmed. Then, press the stop button
Once all your tags have been successfully programmed navigate back to your LGT Dashboard and follow the instructions on how to activate your tags.
What does it mean for your tags to be programmed but not activated?
Tags can be programmed, but will not work until they are activated. To activate your tags you need to edit the SKU in LGT Dashboard. All the NFT Metadata must be entered and minted in order to activate your tags.
You'll know the tag was properly programmed when the screen reads the following. You will see a series of β β β if the programming is successful and βοΈβοΈβοΈ if the programming failed.
