🧪How to Create a Test Tag

Please note that any tags activated in the testing environment cannot be transferred into the production environment.

If you want to create a test tag to demo our technology to a client or to review the stylization internally you can use both the Legitimate Desktop Programmer and Legitimate Dashboard to help create the tag.

1. First, decide if you want to create this test tag in the testing environment or the production environment. Then select that environment from the drop-down menu on your login screen on both the Legitimate Dashboard and Desktop Tag Programmer.

2. Follow the instructions on how to create a SKU to create your test SKU in Legitimate Dashboard

3. Next, program your tags following the Legitimate Desktop Programmer instructions

4. Finally active your tags using Legitimate Dashboard by following the instructions here

Once this is complete you'll have successfully created a Test Tag. If you created this tag in the production environment and you would like to move forward with using this SKU for your project follow the adding new tags to your SKU instructions to add more tags.
